Frontiers in Energy 2020, Volume 14, Issue 2,   Pages 383-399 doi: 10.1007/s11708-017-0505-3

Abstract: In the present work, 14 solar radiation models have been used to assess monthly global solar radiationSince it has been observed that each model is adequate for some months of the year, one model cannothybrid system is proposed which selects, based on the intelligent rules, the most suitable prediction modelThe results indicate that the new hybrid model is capable of predicting the monthly global solar radiation

Online gasoline blending with EPA Complex Model for predicting emissions

Stefan JANAQI, Mériam CHÈBRE, Guillaume PITOLLAT

Frontiers of Engineering Management 2018, Volume 5, Issue 2,   Pages 214-226 doi: 10.15302/J-FEM-2017022

Abstract: The empirical Complex Model developed by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is used by refinersThe difficulty in implementing this model in the blending process stems from the implicit definitionof Complex Model through a series of disjunctions assembled by the EPA in the form of spreadsheets. The first objective of this study is to present a new model that decreases the execution time of ourOur approach introduces a new way to write the Complex Model without any binary or integer variables.

Improving entity linking with two adaptive features Research Article

Hongbin ZHANG, Quan CHEN, Weiwen ZHANG

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2022, Volume 23, Issue 11,   Pages 1620-1630 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2100495

Abstract:

(EL) is a fundamental task in natural language processing. Based on neural networks, existing systems pay more attention to the construction of the , but ignore latent semantic information in the and the acquisition of effective information. In this paper, we propose two , in which the first adaptive feature enables the local and s to capture latent information, and the second adaptive feature describes effective information for embeddings. These can work together naturally to handle some uncertain information for EL. Experimental results demonstrate that our EL system achieves the best performance on the AIDA-B and MSNBC datasets, and the best average performance on out-domain datasets. These results indicate that the proposed , which are based on their own diverse contexts, can capture information that is conducive for EL.
